www.apa.org/news/podcasts/speaking-of-psychology/mass-shootingsshe contradicts herself a little when she talks about how ACCESS to guns are a problem She says that waiting periods and red flag laws would likely make a difference--but she said that many shooters used other people's guns so how would that make a difference? I have to say I do agree people should secure their guns better if not for the safety of friends and family but anybody walking or breaking into the house. She talks a lot about psychological factors in mass shootings but not about religious beliefs and not about national backgrounds (immigration) she glosses over mental illness and survivors of abuse although she does at least mention them. I do like that she discusses the role of media in all this.
